This 1,400 sq ft apartment was designed for a young couple and their toddler—a growing family looking for a space that felt grounded, inviting, and thoughtfully functional. With only two bedrooms and an open-plan living-dining layout, every square foot was maximized to support both everyday living and meaningful moments.
The palette throughout the home is calm and neutral, with soft textures and clean lines layered to evoke a sense of quiet luxury. Natural light filters through sheer drapery, and greenery peeks in through expansive windows, offering a refreshing connection to the outdoors.
One of my favourite spaces in this home is the kitchen. Designed in a soft sage green with brass accents, it brings an earthy sophistication to the space. The bold black-and-white checkered flooring adds a touch of vintage charm, reminiscent of old-world European kitchens, yet grounded in modern practicality. It’s both functional and expressive—a space that effortlessly becomes the heart of the home.
From boucle armchairs to rattan wardrobe shutters, every element in the apartment was selected to create warmth, comfort, and personality. The result is a home that’s elegant without being extravagant—designed for real life, with style that’s here to stay.
